I`m Jess and I am an artist and massively obsessed with animals!

I have graduated from Falmouth Univeristy with a Ba Hons in Fine Art and now I want to push myself out there. My practice has developed alot through my (uni) years and has now cemented itself into mainly bold and unique acrylic pet portraits. Most of my work is in acrylic, but I`m starting to experiment with watercolour and oil pastel. Although I specialise in pet portraits, I am wanting to expand my practice more into different themes, so if you fancy anything non - animals, please let me know! always up for a challenge!

I enjoy creating art that is quirky, bright and unusual. Some of my work involves embroidering wool or beads onto the canvas, or sticking tiles on. I love a background that contrasts the subject. For me, it is a fun way to honour your furry loved ones.

I love giving people a painting that they`ll love and know that it has been made with the utmost respect, kindness and love it deserves! And this comes from me always having animals around me my whole life. Animals have always been my therapy, the place I go to for kindness and respect. I`ve grown up with cats, dogs and horses. I`ve valued their presence in my life. The unconditional love they give you respect, and I want to give that back!
